One of the Sign Association’s Strategic Plan objectives is: “To ensure that the sign industry is a valued partner in developing sign regulations, standards, bylaws and legislation.”
As part of this plan, over the past year, we have had meetings and conversation with planners and regulators from coast to coast.
In New Brunswick, our Atlantic Chapter recently rolled out an SSIT course which has seen significant take-up. The Alberta Region’s experience in this area was highly beneficial in supporting this initiative.
In order to ensure that planners and other decision-makers are better aware of our industry we are currently producing relevant resources to educate planners so they can make more informed decisions.
Watch for new resources, publications and initiatives!
