In addition to the benefits the Sign Association of Canada offers, the Alberta Sign Association has three additional programs to offer its members.

  • City of Edmonton Engineering Drawings and seals, required by the city and available to members only. Please contact Don Kendrick at (780) 413-4688 for more information.
  • Discounts on the provincially required Alberta Electrical Sign Certification course, and the Boom Truck Safety Course. (Members $525 plus GST, Non-members $1050 plus GST)
  • The Board has negotiated a 60% discount with Corporate Express for all members.
  • Scholarship Bursaries for member dependants
  • Sign Permit Committees. The ASA has formed a Northern Sign Permit Committee chaired by Roger Sonntag. For more information contact: roger@integritysigns.com

The Standards of the Association call for members:

  • to meet or exceed the guidelines of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • to maintain an image or reputation which will favorably affect public opinion of the Association and other members
