Installation Technicians (Leadhand and Helpers)
Scope of the Position:
Responsible for the organization, set up and installation exterior illuminated signs.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all Pride Signs and legislative safety requirements, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and fall protection.
- Conduct daily circle check on truck prior to leaving Pride Signs shop; conduct crane checks prior to usage. Document details of inspections in appropriate log books.
- Review installation specifications, permits, , to determine installation site for signage
- Conduct simple site checks. Take measurements, verify truck access, confirm substate and take pictures. Review site planning, identify hazards present and record necessary control measures on the Site Risk Assessment
- Assemble and finish electrical components of the signs at site when required. Daily use of power and hand tools.
- Install signs according to work order instructions. Complete Post Install Attachment Detail ensuring to record all releveant information.
- Test installed sign for conformance to specifications and ensure sign is in proper working order per specifications upon completion of installation using back up generator as power source.
- Receive sign off on work order from customer, instructs customer in use of equipment and ensures customer satisfaction on final product installation
- Replace or repair defective parts as required
- Adheres to all quality assurance standards
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Training:
- High School Diploma
- Valid DZ license
- Boom crane certification
Experience:
- 3+ years related experience in a similar environment, construction or other
- Knowledge of installation of Signs
- Experience with lift truck operation and power hand tools
- Measurement aptitude
- Sound judgment
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Excellent customer focus
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Team oriented with an ability to work with others in a multi cultural environment
- DZ practical driving experience

Bilingual Project Manager
Scope of the Position:
Assess, plan, support and advise using project management fundamentals in the successful management of all projects from award thru completion to support the company’s sales activities.
Key Objectives and Accountabilities:
- Functionally support and promote the company’s framework for growth and change.

Essential Functions:

- Initiate, plan, execute and close essential project functions related to scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk and procurement.
- Initiate and follow up work done by the project specific functional groups including but not limited to sales, graphic design, estimating, permitting, production, installation and accounting.
- In consultation with the Account Manager, establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers through frequent oral and written communication.
- Create, monitor and update project plans which define the required processes / activities of various functional groups to achieve customer deliverables.
- Work with certain key stakeholders to ensure timely approvals are achieved. Stakeholders may include landlords, site supervisors, project managers and franchisees.
- Monitor and control program costs associated with non-recurring engineering activities during the Design and Development phases of the program.
- Support the Account Managers in the maintenance of data to be used in the preparation of reports necessary to meet any and all contractual obligations.
- Ensures a clean and safe work environment at all times. Demonstrates respect for all legislated employment, plant, health and safety standards.
- Other duties as required
Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience:
- Fully fluent, French and English
- Excellent customer focus a must
- Post secondary degree or diploma in related field, or certificate and equivalent working experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the sign or related industry
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency with MS Project and familiarity with MRP2 systems preferred
- Project Management expertise and formal project management methodologies
- Technical aptitude in Construction an asset
